Bringing Vivienne Westwood to India

At Vivz Fashion School, we are committed to taking the future of fashion beyond the runway. Organizing the Vivienne Westwood Fashion Show at the Gateway of India has been nothing short of surreal. From the incredible collection to the energy of the night, every detail was meticulously crafted. It was chaotic, overwhelming, and exhilarating all at once—but above all, it was an experience I’ll never forget.

What makes this even more special is that two years ago, when Dior’s Fall 2023 show took place at the same venue, I remember how excited I was just to witness it from afar. I even did a presentation on it for one of my courses—the first time I felt immense pride in showcasing Indian craftsmanship to a room full of people who weren’t familiar with it. Seeing a brand like Dior highlight our culture on such a global platform was inspiring.

And now, fast forward to today, I didn’t just admire a show—I brought it to life. This is a reminder that you never know what you are manifesting. It’s all in the energy.

This event wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible efforts of my partners, Dr Arti Rai and Vivek Pawar . Whom I worked with to make this vision come to life.
